#2 DEBTOR: Person, not Company
Commandment #2: “Be all that thou can be.“
You should be identified on the document(s) you submit. If you are not named explicitly, then it should be an entity that resolves to you.
This includes a sole proprietorship business or possibly an L.L.C. with a single registered owner.
If you are part of another type of company, such as a C or S Corporation, or an L.L.C. with multiple owners, then it does NOT resolve to you. It resolves to an Employer Identification Number (EIN) instead of your Social Security Number. Avoid these.
