Murder Awaiting the Author

The book opens with this:

“A bloody butcher knife lay near her covered body. He had stabbed her, clubbed her to death . . . and raped her. He signed his name, in blood, with the “Star of David.” He said he was an angel from God, sent to kill people who did not deserve to live.”

“He said he had murdered people in Texas, Kentucky, Illinois… usually killing them in their homes… Now he said he was headed to Dallas [in search of the author, Horace Butler].” p. 9
